National Express Bus website gets passengers through the snow

Friday 8th February 2013

In times of inclement weather, when Birmingham and West Midlands folk yearn for the warmth and security of home, the lure of National Express Bus - the nation's largest, regional bus operator - helps to get them safely home.

National Express Bus know that their digital design and development agency, One Black Bear, has what it takes to keep their website up and running through these cold snaps that always make for exponential spikes in traffic..

With another consignment of snow set to add more stress and duress to our weather-beaten nation this weekend, yet again, National Express Bus will be bracing themselves once more for an onslaught of communication via digital and social means as passengers reach for their mobiles to check the inevitable timetable alterations.

But worry not. Just because the last batch of white stuff made for some show stopping increases in usual traffic numbers, our website never failed to turn up. Instead, we carried on even if the roads went down. We thought we'd share the numbers with you and let you know how we're helping them keeping the Midlands running.

This infographic tells the tale of the analytics in slightly prettier pictures...
