Technology

One Black Bear builds and hosts applications using open source technology. This is the same technology that is used by the majority of modern web applications.

Because One Black Bear has the expertise in-house to configure and run advanced open source systems we don't need to charge the higher costs involved in hosting and purchasing proprietary systems.

Whilst we hope that you will continue to host your web applications with One Black Bear should you wish to host elsewhere in the future your application can be transferred with little custom configuration.

Standards and Accessibility

We place great emphasis on designing standards-compliant sites. This ensures that your site is in compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act and that you provide access to your site to the widest possible audience, whether they are accessing via traditional methods or via mobile devices such as PDAs or mobile phones.
