The job

Oval Real Estate, the developers and owners of all things Digbeth, tasked us with developing an overarching look and feel for their marketing material.

Oval wanted to convey the uniqueness of the area and really distinguish Digbeth as a credible, well connected and exciting base for businesses large and small. With many exciting plans afoot and future HS2 trains literally breezing the doorstep, the area is at a crucial juncture in its history and has so much to offer.

The Digbeth area is a fantastic fusion of the new and the old and we wanted to reflect this in our creative depiction. Poems were written that cleverly weave the area’s proud industrial past with the modern day – ‘from pig iron to pulled pork’ being an example. Striking imagery from around the estate has been used plus architect’s plans and CGI impressions to show what’s planned.

Boldly written maxims feature throughout to affirm Digbeth as THE definitive quarter for visionaries and creators. The initial tranche of work comprises online brochures for the Custard Factory and Floodgate buildings with more assets to follow soon.
