We created the #betterwithyou social media campaign. The campaign served not only to recruit staff, but to highlight the vast improvements that the Trust, the local area and the Better Care Together Partnership had made in recent times.
A move to UHMBT offered not only a job, but a way of life.
The #betterwithyou strapline, which could be be easily adopted by any one of the other 10 BCT partners.
Three staff-led films which highlighted not only the Trust’s amazing staff, but the desirability of the location for applicants and their families.
The BCT recruitment hub – a mobile optimised, clear and modern website which pulled together jobs from all 11 partners within the BCT partnership.
Staff profiles, which were uploaded to the BCT hub.
A ‘Campaign Toolkit’, including BCT brand guidelines, details of fonts and colours and vacancy advert templates.
A six week creative social media campaign including both organic content and paid advertising on Facebook and Twitter.
Community management which included interaction with the local community and potential applicants.
Both the campaign and the website have performed excellently. The reaction and support UHMBT has had from staff, locals, and within the health sector in general has been amazing. The staff-led emotive content and film have been shared by the likes of NHS Health Education England, Nurse Standard and The Society and College of Radiographers to name but a few.
Overall, #betterwithyou was highly successful, engaging with all key stakeholders and increasing recruitment applications to the Trust.
