Wake up and smell the coffee tax
January saw me seriously cut down the caffeine. Limiting myself to one weak coffee per day was a refreshing break, but living on green tea was always unacceptable as a long term commitment. Finally, it was February, and I was first in the queue for a double espresso with extra presso. But my coffee holiday had heightened my senses to something.
It’s time I faced up to things
I am working in my third agency. At my first agency, my manager always asked me to deliver information “In a nutshell please Beth!” when time was of the essence, and my detailed narrations were perceived to be a little much. In my second agency, it appeared I had mastered the art of verbal summary but to the detriment of my expressions.
Be Fierce
2018 has been a rollercoaster of a year. At the end of March we were closing our best year ever financially but with the knowledge that by July we would have a big hole in the numbers for the coming year.
Now that’s what I call music!
It was a year of mood rings, Bang On The Door pencil cases, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and the film that changed all our lives, Titanic. And just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, 1997 was topped off when the best female group in the entire history of my 11-year life released ‘Never Ever’.
